BTS Bioengineering continues its collaboration with SUPLOGIX, a company dedicated to contribute through scientific study to the progression of stand up paddle boarding.
They used the FREEEMG technology to study one of the world’s best SUP paddlers Travis Grant about one month before his impressive 2nd place finish in Molokai to Oahu.
The objective of this study was to help gain more insights on how and what parts of the body are used when standup paddling, especially for the elite paddlers. Travis paddled at cruising speed as well as racing speed to get all aspects of his muscle activation.
