Last week in Bogotà, the inauguration of the most modern and important movement laboratory analysis of Colombia took place. Thanks to the collaboration with our local partner TLM Andina, BTS Bioengineering installed its new motion lab in the Roosevelt Pediatric Orthopedic Institute (www.institutoroosevelt.org.co).
Bogotà’s main authorities and Italian representatives in Colombia attended the opening event. Italian Ambassador, Gianni Bardini and ITA’s (Italian Trade Agency) chairman Paolo Ponti, represented BTS Bioengineering and its ability to export advanced technologies all over the world.
For over 60 years the Roosevelt Institute has been at children’s service supporting them and their families in the diagnosis and treatment of gait and movement disorders. The Institute is a reference point in pediatric movement disorders care, thus representing for BTS a meaningful result in the diffusion process of our products in this country. The prestige of the Roosevelt Pediatric Orthopedic Institute strengthens BTS presence in Colombia and South America.
BTS GAITLAB’s innovative technology will allow the Roosevelt Institute to obtain static and dynamic postural analysis results quickly, enabling them to perform a greater number of evaluations, thus helping a greater number of children. This integrated system does not only lead to the accurate choice of personalized treatment, but also supplies a knowledge and investigation platform for the development of new care services destined to the Institute’s little patients.
