Also this year several physicians, physiotherapists, engineers operating in the bioengineering field and other experts in biomedical field attended the VIII EMG SIAMOC Course at San Sebastiano Hospital in Correggio (Reggio Emilia, Italy). During the course different speakers and tutors took part in the event aiming at providing theoretical and practical knowledge to carry out a correct EMG analysis in the study of lower limb movement.
In particular, we point out the contribution of Yves Blanc, one of the greatest experts of electromyography that worked at the Kinesiology laboratory of the University Hospital of Geneva (Switzerland). He conducted the theoretical and practical lessons directly involving participants both in examiner and patient roles. Great collaboration has been shown by some BTS technicians that worked alongside participants allowing an accurate analysis execution and a correct interpretation of test results.
Below you will find some photos of the course.
