It gives us great pleasure and satisfaction to announce that last Thursday 3rd of March at the Pediatric Rehabilitation Center Princesa Victoria of Rio Claro, Brazil, was opened the laboratory of Movement Analysis with a training area. This initiative is part of the Rotary Foundation funding project that permitted to buy the system with which patients will be provided with free exams. Thanks to the support of high qualified teams and to the use of advanced technology, the Princesa Vitoria will become the reference center not only for Brazil but also for the rest of the world.
This opening represented the end of two years of work and was made possible thanks to Rotary Club de Rio Claro Cidade Azul, 4590 District, in collaboration with two Rotay Club Italian Districts (2041 and 2042 Districts – Global Grant #1529210), and to the support of the Brazilian company Tigre S.A. for the building restoration. Moreover, for the realization of this project was involved the University Politecnico of Milan with which the center has actively collaborated for many years.
A warm thanks goes to all those who took part in this important initiative that shows, once again, how the collaboration between public and private authorities leads to excellent results. Below the service launched on the national television with all the details of the project.
