FMBA opening in Moscow

The June 8, 2011 BTS has participated at the ceremony opening of the sports medicine and rehabilitation center FMBA in Moscow. The event received a big echo from all over the country, also thanks to the participation of delegates and ministers that praised the work done.
With more than one thousand meters and unique equipment – as BTS solutions – that are able to simulate every phase of the formative process, this laboratory expects to take to top levels their athletes, thanks to the creation of medical support programs that are unique in the world.

BTS new collaboration in Greece

The opening ceremony of the OREC (Orthopeadic Research and Education Center) was a big event. Ministers, Rectors of universities, directors of orthopedic clinics from all over Greece and other countries came to honor the work of Professor Soucacos, Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, whose purpose is to “provide stimulating laboratory and training environments for orthopaedic residents, students, post-doctoral fellows and faculty, and to advance novel concepts through translational studies that bridge basic science research and clinical practice”.
BTS is present with its Gait Analysis Laboratory “designed to perform functional assessments and so to measure outcome after orthopaedic procedures of the lower extremity and spine”.

The BTS and Uppsala University collaboration continues

A new OEP system has been installed at the Section of Anaesthesiology in the Department of Surgical Sciences at Uppsala University (Sweden). Dr. Peter Frykholm and his collaborators will take advantage of OEP features for studying several important clinical problems in the field of anesthesiology and intensive care medicine, such as the effects of different anaesthetic agents on respiratory muscles and lung
