
Stroke is a disabling condition involving the reduction of patients’ quality of life and autonomy. Today it is one of the leading causes of death around the world. 80 million people worldwide have had a stroke, 50 million stroke survivors live with some forms of permanent disability.
Today during the World Stroke Day 2018 we want to remind all professionals who deal with patients affected by stroke the strengths of our immersive virtual reality system NIRVANA.
The use of NIRVANA has been shown to be effective in the motor and cognitive rehabilitation of patients affected by this neurological disorder. Stimulate the proactivity and motivation of the patient, with the possibility to rehabilitate the whole body with specific exercises, has never been so simple.

Recent reports project that between 2015 and 2035, there will be a 34% increase in the total number of stroke events in the EU. Currently the rate of stroke deaths in different countries ranges from 30 per 100,000 inhabitants to 170 per 100,000 inhabitants.
