3-Inertial sensor system: ultra-compact, fast, and portable

The new G-SENSOR redefines the standards of wearable technology applied to clinical and rehabilitative care. Drastically reduced in size and weight compared to previous generations, it can be applied in seconds and is designed to be completely imperceptible to the patient, ensuring maximum natural movement even in subjects with severe motor or neurological impairments. It provides reliable inertial data for daily functional assessment and follow-up.

To adapt to every specific need of rehabilitative medicine, G-SENSOR is available in two powerful configurations:

  • Single Sensor Configuration: Ideal for ultra-fast baseline testing, postural control assessment, and general joint mobility.
  • Master/Slave Multi-Sensor Network: A system consisting of one Master sensor and two auxiliary Slave sensors. This configuration revolutionizes gait analysis in complex pathologies that deviate from standard movement patterns (where traditional single-sensor algorithms might fail to correctly identify gait phases). Utilizing the two auxiliary sensors guarantees extremely precise and reliable data even in these critical clinical cases, while enabling simultaneous multi-point tracking (e.g., bilateral limb comparison, pelvis-trunk coordination) for an in-depth study of asymmetries and kinetic chain compensations.
Software

Software

Simple Analytics & Instant Feedback

The G-WALK software is designed for immediate clinical use, skipping complex data processing in favor of a user-friendly interface. It pairs G-SENSOR instantly via Bluetooth, turning raw movement into clear bars, graphs, and target zones that both healthcare professionals and patients can understand at a glance.

The software includes a real-time visual and acoustic feedback system. By showing key kinematic metrics on-screen during execution—such as gait symmetry, joint range of motion, or postural stability—it helps patients stay motivated, correct motor compensations on the spot, and understand their performance baselines during regular therapy or long-term follow-up phases.

Analysis protocols

Analysis protocols

A multidisciplinary suite of analysis protocols and therapeutic exercises

G-WALK includes functional tests for evaluation and follow-up, alongside exercises supported by real-time acoustic and visual biofeedback. Moving beyond traditional systems focused solely on motor rehabilitation, G-WALK provides a unique, integrated platform that covers multiple clinical and specialized fields:

  • Motor & Postural Assessment:
    • Range of Motion (ROM): Practical instrumental analysis of joint mobility across key body districts (Cervical, Shoulder, Trunk…) to quickly track stiffness and recovery trends.
    • Gait & Balance: Straightforward walking and equilibrium assessment (including Timed Up and Go, Walk, and Quiet Standing tests) to establish baseline protocols and monitor postural stability.
    • Return to Play: Objective support during the recovery process from musculoskeletal or sports injuries through rapid Jump tests, Balance screening, and estimated Power-Force-Velocity profiling.
  • Cognitive Therapy: Interactive exercises designed to stimulate specific cognitive domains—such as memory, attention, executive functions, and perception—supporting neuro-functional training and rehabilitation.
  • Speech-Language Therapy: Protocols and exercises designed to support the recovery and enhancement of verbal comprehension, speech production, voice, and fluency, directly targeting the patient’s cognitive-linguistic domain.
  • Cardiorespiratory Therapies:
    • Respiratory Therapy: Guided breathing exercises designed to monitor thoracic or abdominal expansion, helping patients optimize respiratory patterns and ventilation efficiency through visual feedback.
    • Cardiologic Therapy: Structured exercise protocols designed to guide the subject through controlled movement tasks, ensuring a safe, progressive workload during cardiovascular conditioning.

Instant Insights & Comparative Analytics

G-WALK automatically generates intuitive, clinical-grade reports as soon as a test or exercise is completed, making it easy to streamline communication and share immediate insights with patients or fellow specialists.

Additionally, its built-in history tracking enables advanced longitudinal analysis, allowing professionals to easily compare data across different sessions to objectively quantify recovery trajectories and visualize progress trends over time.

A wearable motion analysis laboratory

For motor assessment sessions, the inertial sensor is easily applied to the patient using dedicated, ergonomic fastening accessories. The patient can move naturally and without obstructions while performing specific tasks, such as walking. The sensor transmits data via Bluetooth to the connected computer, instantly generating an automatic report with all the clinical parameters calculated during the test.
